Would be nice if ego learned from some of these other space games thats been coming out. Dunno why this and rebel galaxy outlaw look so much nicer visually and more fun than x games, they look modern, maybe not the most detail in terms of mesh density or 4k textures but they look like modern games yet x4 looks old in alot of places and lacks things i mean go to a bar in a x game and its stale boring nothing to do, do it on rebel galaxy outlaw, it looks like a bar, has a bartender u can chat to i think and visually looks active and nice.

I have one of the past games, saw a mate play it thought id get it but never played it lol. You posted rebel galaxy vid instead when u said.Ībout sp g3. Here's some sexy screens I found around the place: This guy has done a good video preview of it: The game is still in early access on steam so naturally it lacks polish but is already looking absolutely gorgeous!! The only fault I have with its otherwise stunning graphics are the very plastic mannequin like people but apparently the devs have said they'll be fixing that.

However for this new game it looks like they've totally gone in a pure X/WC/Freelancer style fighter game direction (which I think has upset some of their past fanbase but hey its great for us haha) with all the cool stuff like landing on planets and space stations to trade and visit their seedy space bars for work! It also has an interesting (unfinished) side game where you take control of a small probe infiltrating derelicts and space stations avoiding security systems that sort of reminds me of some of X2 – The Threat’s good old side missions. The previous Starpoint Gemini games had space combat, trading on stations and even some planet landing stuff however they still felt a bit different eg more of a big ship RTS tactical combat game. Amazing! Only a couple of weeks ago I was excitedly posting here about the release of Rebel Galaxy Outlaw and now someone over in the Freelancer Facebook group posts a video of yet another very X, WC and Freelancer like game called Starpoint Gemini 3!
